Please Join Us For – The Annual Family Picnic, Brat & Corn Roast
The Family Picnic & Corn Roast is once again upon us! Saturday August 13th at the shelter, 3:00pm. We have a full line up with a few new additions.
Here is a run down of the activities planned:

The Main Event – Corn, Brats, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Nachos, Soda and Water will be provided.
3:00 pm – Snacks should be available to be shared.
4:00 pm – Main dishes, salads, desserts, etc. should be ready to be shared, but can be brought earlier.

Silent Auction Fund Raiser – 3:00 to 7:15 pm
We will again feature a silent auction, coordinated by the Welcoming Committee with themed gift baskets and other terrific donated auction items.

The Games – 4:00 to 7:15 (Exact times to be posted at the shelter the day of the event).
• Pitch & Burst Water Balloon Game – 3 throws for 1 ticket.
• Soccer / Volleyball Games
• Water Balloon Toss
• Find & Eat the Gummy Worm in a Pile of Whipped Crème Contest
• Softball Game – Around 6:00pm
• Pie Eating Contest – 7:15pm

Flower Arrangement Competition 2:00 to 3:30pm
Judging at 5:45pm We are holding the first ever Family Picnic Flower Arrangement Competition. We are asking for you to please bring flowers with you to the shelter. All flower donations welcome. Vases will be available. Arrangements will be assembled between 2:00 and 3:30 at the shelter. Winners announced at 5:45pm.
